A recent trip to Cinque Terre has turned Q’s love for Italian food to an obsession with Ligurian cuisine. Forget the heavy sauces and oversized meatballs. Ligurian cuisine is la semplicita, ‘simplicity’, at it’s best.
It was here, in Manarola (one of the five villages in Cinque Terre) where we stumbled upon an unforgettable, unplanned meal and the best pasta dish we’ve ever had!
Lobster Linguine
Just lobster and tomatoes combine in a simple sauce over al-dente to perfection linguine pasta, drizzled with their famous regional olive oil, topped with a sprinkle of fresh parsley. That’s it. That’s how pasta should always be.
Top 5 dishes I’ve had.. not just in Italy, not just in pasta.. Ever!
I’ll go as far as to say last meal before I die with complete and total satisfaction.
